UH Engineering Camp for Girls

The University of Houston is hosting its sixth year of summer camp for girls who may be interested in pursuing engineering careers or studies. Known as G.R.A.D.E (Girls Reaching And Demonstrating Excellence) Camp, the summer camp is accepting applications for girls in grades 8th through 12th (as of August 2008) who are either curious about or want more experience with engineering. The girls work in teams doing fun engineering activities as well as interact with engineering college students, faculty, and industry engineers.
