Williams named Chronicle Athlete of Week

For the second week in a row, a Channelview Falcons football player has been named the Houston Chronicle’s Boys Athlete of the Week.
Wide receiver/running back Terrell Williams had nine receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown, along with 172 rushing yards in the Falcons’ 62-42 victory over Friendswood.
In week three of the season, quarterback Averion Hurts was also honored as the Chronicle’s top boys athlete of the week.
The Falcons are 3-1 on the season and face Pasadena Dobie at 7 p.m. this Saturday at Veterans’ Memorial Stadium in Pasadena.
