• 2009-2011 Technology Plan

The technology department facilitates the effective use of computers and other technology districtwide. This includes the following responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development of short and long-range plans for the use of technology.
• Implementing and coordinating technology staff development and training.
• Providing leadership and technical expertise to principals and other district personnel in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of technology hardware and software.
• Assisting in the intergration of technology in the existing curriculum.
• Providing assistance with the bidding process, purchase, distribution, maintenance, and installation of hardware, software, and other technological equipment and materials within instructional programs.
• Assisting in the development of policies and procedures regarding technology.
• Installing and upgrading computers and peripherals throughout the district.
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment, including printers, servers, and computers.
