Channelview ISD has a security agreement with the Harris County Constable Precinct 3 Office. Constable Ken Jones appointed Lieutenant Dennis Whitted as the supervisor over six deputies working in the district.

Deputies works closely with campus principals and assistant principals in their assigned areas. One officer is dedicated to investigating truancy while the other deputies monitor activities on campuses. In addition to ensuring a safe environment for students during the academic day, the constables provide traffic control and monitor speed limits in the school zones during the mornings and afternoons.

Channelview ISD and the Harris County Precinct 3 Constable's Officers work toward a common vision to provide the safest environment for our students and staff. Our goal is to provide information in partnership with parents and the community to help keep students safe.
