The JROTC Orienteering Team went to the National Interscholastic and JROTC Orienteering Championships for the first time. The Junior Varsity Team took 3rd place, while the Freshmen Team took fourth. Additionally, one of our cadets, Stacey Bernal, was the top JV female of the weekend. Jorge Olvera and Beatriz Francisco were the fourth best JV male and female. These are great accomplishments, especially for a team in its third year of existence. The CISD School Board presented the members of the JV and Freshmen teams with medals at the March 15, 2005 board meeting. Once again CISD would like to congratulate the Orienteering Team for their performance at the national level.
